Albert Edward Blair, Jr., 87, resident of Eldorado passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Albert was born August 25, 1929 in Webster Grove, MO to the late Albert E. and Flora (Marsh) Blair. He married the former Mary Margaret Berry who preceded him in death in 2005. Albert came to Eldorado from St. Louis, MO, in 1948 where he worked for Illinois Power for 45 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by a son; Berry Allen (Kimberlee) Blair of Marion, a daughter; Janet Lynn Blair of Eldorado, two sisters; Evelyn Ode and Flo Canepa both of St. Louis, MO, five grandchildren; Adam (Krystal) Henson, Aaron Henson, Blair (Shannon) Deuel, Bridgette (Brandon) Page, Brittany (Joel) Allen and 10 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by three brothers; Bud, Jim and Bill Blair and two sisters; Bea Ott and Faye Ferguson, all of the St. Louis, MO area.Albert was cremated at his request and there will be no public services.
