Aurby E. Falk, 75, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Aurby was born December 14, 1940 in Eldorado to the late Jack and Lorene (Stevens) Falk. He married the former Dianna Gee who survives. Aurby served in the US Air Force and was a long time member of the Eldorado Lions Club. He retired from GTE telephone. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Social Brethren Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter; Marsha (Scott) Collins of Eldorado, a grandson; Austin Collins of Eldorado, a sister; Patricia (Harold) Bradley of Olney, nieces and nephews; Rhonda (Mark) Bloom, Gene (Ethel) Bradley, Kim (Bruce) Gibbons, special cousins; Bill and Gail Harris of Eldorado and several great nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Falk. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Finnie officiating. Burial will be in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Monday, August 22, 2016 at the funeral home. In addition to flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Social Brethren Church or The Eldorado Lions Club and will be accepted at the funeral home.
