Carolyn Christine White

Carolyn C. White, 68, resident of Eldorado passed away Tuesday August 18, 2015 at her residence.  Carolyn was born February 15, 1947 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late John Marvin and Gladyas (Droomgoole) White.  Carolyn graduated from Eldorado High School then moved to Memphis, TN where she worked for Sears and Roebuck, Navy Memphis Federal Credit Union, St. Jude, Smith and Nephew and finally retired from Hunter Fan Company.  She then returned to Eldorado where she worked at Big Johns as a cashier. Carolyn is survived by a daughter; Tammie Rast, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, all of Navarre, FL, a sister; Betty Roberts of Eldorado, 2 brothers; Marion White of Eldorado, John Paul White of Ohio, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son; Marvin Barger and a daughter; Twania Mornetta. Carolyn was cremated at her request and there will be no services per her request.  The family would like to thank the community of Eldorado for the outpouring of prayers, and the many angels that helped along the way.  The great friends that came to visit, the ones that sent cards and flowers to lift her spirits (and it always did). A special Thank You to the Willie Devillez family who's kindness and generosity is immeasurable, to Big Johns where she felt like she was part of a family.  The nurses and staff of Harrisburg Medical Center, Words can’t express the gratitude.  Be proud when you say you are from Eldorado, it is a community of GREAT people.  May God bless you all as she was blessed.
