Connie Rae Massey, 52, resident of Eldorado passed away August 30, 2015 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Connie was born January 11, 1963 in Eldorado to Henry R. Massy and the late Sallie Ann (Woods) Massy. Connie was a homemaker and she attended Little Chapel Church in Raleigh. Connie is survived by her father; Henry R. Massey of Raleigh, a son; David Potter of Eldorado, a daughter; Samantha Massey of Carbondale, a brother Brian K. (Carri S.) Massey of Raleigh and two grandchildren; Owen Zentz and Addyson Potter. She was a loving mother to those who were not hers. Connie was preceded in death by her mother Sallie Ann Woods Massey. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Mark Finnie officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery near Equality.
