Delores Ann Barnes, 81, resident of Muddy, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her residence.  Delores was born August 10, 1936 in Muddy to the late Willie and Mildred (Dardeen) Stewart. She was a 1954 graduate of the Harrisburg High School. She married John Barnes who survives. Delores worked as a beautician for many years. She was a member of the Baton Rouge, LA Family Worship Center.  She was an avid bowler and loved to go fishing. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons; Jeff Butler of Harrisburg, Keith (Kerri) Butler of Florissant, CO, a step daughter; Angela Doerge of Eldorado, a sister Carolyn (Bob) Hoe of St. Francisville, grandchildren; Skyler Butler, Will Butler, Kayla Renier, Kourtney Schroeder, Jessica (Billy) Carter, Kyle Butler, Chasity Long, Niegle Doerge, Jesse Doerge, Raegan Doerge, great grandchildren; Brantley Carter, Liam Carter, Melody Long, Kinzey Long, Amber Long and Jamie Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter; Kathy Butler, a sister; Dorothy Knight and a stepson; Jay Barnes. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, November 13, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Ownly Williams officiating.  Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery.  Visitation is 10:00 am to service time on Monday.  Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
