Donald R. Kendall, 83, resident of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Don was born October 27, 1933 in Galatia, Illinois to the late James and Ella Mae (McKinney) Kendall. Donald was a retired coal miner. He was a member of Star General Baptist Church. Don is survived by his wife; Wanda Kendall, his son; Tony Shane Kendall of Galatia, a daughter; Cindy Kendall of Murphysboro, a brother; Max (Sue) Kendall of Harrisburg, four grandchildren; Brooklin Kendall, Chase Kendall, Kasey McCombs and Mindy Carter. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am to service time on Friday. Burial will be in Webber Campground in Galatia.
