Edith C. (Pankey) Pankey

Edith C. Pankey, 99, resident of Eldorado passed away Monday, January, 29, 2018 at the Eldorado Rehab and Healthcare. Edith was born October 19, 1918 in Ridgway to the late Ira and Tessie (Graves) Pankey. She was a member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church.  Edith retired from the REA where she was employed many years as a secretary. Edith is survived by nieces; Mary Bowen of Godfrey, Kim Janisch of, MN, nephews; James Lasley and Thomas Lasley both of Florida. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother; Robert Pankey, and three sisters; Naola Lasley, Bernice Hamilton and Mary Bowen. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Randy Plunkett officiating.  Burial will be in Hazel Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:00 am to service time on Thursday at the funeral home.  condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
