Floyd D. Christian, 64, resident of Eldorado passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Floyd was born February 26, 1952 in Madisonville, KY to the late William F. and Amanda (Gibson) Christian. He was a retired boilermaker and a member of the Equality Masonic Lodge. He married the former Veronica Gail Downs who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons; Michael D. Christian of KY, Samuel L. (Lisa) Dye of St. Louis, two daughters; Angela Christian of KY, Tomara G. (Matt Pribble) Wells of Herrin, three sisters; Sheila (Doug) Hughes of KY, Brenda Simms of KY, Archie (James) Butler of Eldorado, an aunt; Joyce Gibson of KY, grandchildren; Nicholas (Misty) Dye of Eldorado, Zachary Dye of St. Louis, Ashley Christian of KY, Portia Hendrix of KY, Logan Christian of KY, Dustin McDonald of KY, Michael Christian, Jr. of Eldorado, Cortney Christian of Eldorado Nathan Christian of Eldorado, Ava Pribble of Herrin and Candin Pribble of Herrin and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; George and Anthony and two sisters; Pauline Allen and Susie Cole. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, October 10, 2016 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Fox officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 4-7 pm at the funeral home with Masonic Rites by the Equality Masonic Lodge.
