Francine Marie Harris, 71, resident of Harrisburg passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale while surrounded by her family. She was born November 24, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Dominick and Katherine (Demarzo) LiDonni. Francine was a loving wife and mother. She worked for many years at the Harrisburg Medical Center as an administrative assistant and later in Human Resources. Francine was know for her fun personality and could make anyone laugh. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her dog, Bo-Bo. Francine was a kind soul always putting the needs of others first. She was very devout in her Catholic faith and was a member of St. May’s Catholic Church in Harrisburg. Francine will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all who knew her. She married Cliff Harris who survives. In addition to her husband Francine is survived by a daughter Tara (Randy) Shaw of Norris City, her mother-in-law; Zola Harris of Harrisburg, a sister; Kathy Nelson of Staten Island, NY, a brother and sister in law; Stanley and Patricia Harris of Eddyville, nieces and nephews; Angie (Lyle) Markus, David and Lucas Harris. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, August 14, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Fr. Abraham Adejoh officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
