Franklin Gray, 92, resident of Eldorado passed away October 31, 2015 at his residence. Franklin was born July 12, 1923 in Dale, IL to the late Nelson and Mayme (Johnson) Gray. He served during WWII in the US Army. He married the former Kate Leibenguth who preceded him in death. He is a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ. Franklin and his wife Kate owned and operated Gray’s Laundry for over 37 years. He is survived by a daughter; Judy (Dale) Burzynski of Benton, a grandson; Adam (Kristen) Nagreski of Johnston City, two great granddaughters; Brynn and Piper Kate, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother; William Ray Gray and a sister; Elba Harrawood. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with burial in Hickory Hill Cemetery in Broughton. Visitation will be Tuesday 11:00 am to service time.
