Guy E. Woolard, 89, resident of Eldorado passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Guy was born August 5, 1925 in Eldorado to the late Charlie and Lena (McCormick) Woolard. He worked as a carpenter in the the Chicago area for 40 years before retiring home to Eldorado where he continued his work as a carpenter. He was a Lifetime member of the Eldorado VFW and a member of the Eldorado American Legion. He was an avid gardner, enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, and playing poker. He is survived by his loving companion and caregiver Marvetta Morris, sons; Rick Woolard of Eldorado, Dick (Barbara) Woolard of Eldorado, daughter; Sandra (Bill) Schauer of Bolingbrook, daughter-in-law; Sandy Milligan of St. Charles, IL, grandchildren; Wesley (Brittany) Roberts of Eldorado, Lindsay (Lloyd) Neafus of Eldorado, Jessica (Josh) Jones of Eldorado, Paul Hauschild of Carbondale, Joe Milligan of Elgin, Neal Woolard of Eldorado, Katie Milligan of St. Charles, IL, great grandchildren; Noah Roberts, Emily Roberts, Maggie Roberts, Jordan Jones, Kayla Milligan and Haley Milligan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives; Lucille and Mary, a son; Mark Milligan and three brothers; Charles, Robert and Jack. Funeral services 11:00 am Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Mark Finnie officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Monday July 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
