Herschel Glenn Paris, 75, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday September 12, 2015 at Harrisburg Medical Center. Herschel was born April 9, 1940 in Galatia, Illinois to the late Ivan and Bertha L. (Cannon) Paris. He married the former Mary Owen who survives. In addition to his wife, Herschel is survived by a son; Charles Paris of Raleigh, two brothers; Enos Paris of Raleigh, Clarence “Doc” Paris of Bourbonnais and a sister Doris Emery of FL. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Virginia Phillips and three brothers; Gaylord, Dutch and Gleaford. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Randy Sork officiating. Burial will be in North America Cemetery near Galatia. Visitation will be Tuesday, Noon to service time at 2.
