Jerry Lee Potts Sr. "Cowboy", 72, resident of Eldorado passed away Thursday April 20, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Jerry was born August 20, 1944 in Eldorado to the late Alvin and Muriel F. (Vaught) Potts. He married the former Hazel L. Krikie who survives. Jerry was a retired coal miner. Her attended Little Chapel Church and enjoyed fishing and watching Cardinals Baseball. In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by two sons; Jerry Lee Potts Jr. of Eldorado, Gary Ray (Tonya) Potts of Eldorado, two brothers; Terry (Jane) Potts of Eldorado, Danny Potts of Harrisburg, a sister; Linda Kay (John) Hale, five grandchildren; Casey (James) Horseman of Raleigh, Morgan Potts of Eldorado, Brooklyn Potts of Galatia, Cody Potts of Eldorado, Hannah Potts of Eldorado, six great-grandchildren; Elias, Andrew, Ella, Kollin, Taylen, Adalyn and his dog Gizmo. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Lindell Potts, a sister-in-law; Marilyn Potts and a granddaughter; Chelcie Potts. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with rev. Jeff Rush officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
