John W. Karns, 53, resident of Eldorado passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. John Was born August 1, 1962 in Eldorado to the late Emmitt D. Karns and Wilma (Wiseman) Karns of Eldorado. He married the former Cathy Barnett who survives. He attended Leamington Eagle Creek Community Church. John worked as a custodian at the Eldorado Middle School. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by three daughters; Lindsey Karns of Eldorado, Sara Karns of Harrisburg, Erin Karns of Eldorado, three sisters; Beth (Charles) Pertain of Harrisburg, Angie Webb of Eldorado, Susan Willis of Eldorado and five grandchildren; Sierra, Isiah, Kelsey, Bailey and Taylor. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, October 16, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Pastor Lee Fricker officiating. Burial will be in Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 11:00 am to service time at 1:00pm. In addition to flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
