Juanelle Brown, 86, resident of Eldorado passed away Friday July 29, 2016 at the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. Juanelle was born April 23, 1930 in Shawneetown to the late Earl and Bertie (Bland) Kannady. She married James W. Brown who survives. Juanelle worked as a LPN at Ferrell Hospital until retirement. She was a member of Star General Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son; James E. (Brenda) Brown of Eldorado, Patti (Mark) Burpo of Washington, a sister; Frieda Roe of Shawneetown, two grandchildren; Cari (Greg) Randel of Mt. Vernon, IN, Erik Burpo of Washington, four great grandchildren; Jordan, Waynetta, Connor and Taylor. In addition to her parents was preceded in death by two brothers; Calvin and Earl and a sister Bertie Cummings. Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Star General Baptist Church. Visitation will be 1:00 pm to service time at the church. In addition to flowers memorial contributions may be made to Star Church building fund and will be accepted at the church.
