Judy Briddick, 78, resident of Eldorado passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg. Judy was born March 20, 1939 in Muddy, Illinois to the late Loren and Maggie (Perkins) Lambert. On September 21, 1957 she married David Briddick who survives. Judy was a member of Star General Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons; Jeff (Kathy) Briddick of MO, Chris (Hande) Briddick of SD, Wes (Angel) Briddick of Woodlawn, a daughter; Lorna Briddick of CA, two sisters; Wilma Hicks of Harrisburg, Della Bozarth of IN, four grandchildren; Marci Briddick, Benjamin Briddick, A1C Airmen 1st Class Tyler Briddick, Sinan Briddick, brother and sister in laws; Billy and Jenny Briddick of Eldorado and Lois Lamber of Harrisburg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Loren Lambert, Jr., Herbert Lambert and a sister Edna Abney. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday June 10, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Ken Russell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 10:00 am to service time. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery in Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shawnee Rose Care Center Activity Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
