Martin Feges, 81, of Eldorado, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017, 11:05 p.m., at the Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. He was born on September 1, 1935 in Eldorado, the son of the late Alex and Elizabeth (Fargus) Feges. On November 21, 1990 Martin married the former Isabelle Aud Potts. Over the years Martin worked at Sahara Coal, Scot Lad and Federal Wholesale. He was a member of the North Williford Baptist Church in Harrisburg. Martin loved to fish and enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle Feges of Eldorado; his step children, Danny Potts of Eldorado, John and Debbie Potts of Harrisburg, Carol and Barnie Schumer of Perryville, Mo.; two sisters, Christine Curry of Eldorado and Gaye Teague of Oregon; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren. Martin was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Carolyn Rodgers; two brothers, Paul and Alex Jr. Feges; his step daughter, Mary Ann Mattingly. Visitation for Martin will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Funeral service will be following day at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Keith Ital will be officiating the service with burial at the Wolf Creek Cemetery near Eldorado.
