Mason David Carter, infant son of Austin David Carter and Ashley Dawn Ammon passed away January 9, 2018 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. in addition to his parents he is survived by maternal grandparents; Phillip and Michelle Drone of Eldorado, Brad and Jennifer Ammon of Galatia, paternal grandparents; Sarah Carter and Matt Jones of Bonnie, IL, maternal great grandparents; Gene Ping of Eldorado, Cletus Drone of Ridgway, Robert and Joann Rice of Muddy, Nancy Smothers of Carrier Mills, paternal great grandmother; Annabell Fico of Bonnie, IL, a great great grandmother Milburn of Stonefort, aunts and uncles; Tristin Carter, Andrew Jones, Brandon Carter, Caleb Carter, Mariah Drone, Dominic Ammon, Connor Ammon, Josiah Ammon, Ryker Ammon, Marty and Terry Higginbotham, a special aunt and uncle Don and Vicki Bean of Eldorado and several cousins. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Murray Hill Cemetery north of Eldorado with Pastor Scott Pilkington officiating. Those attending should go directly to the cemetery. For those who wish the family will gather at the First Christian Church in Eldorado following the services. Colonial Terrace Funeral home in Eldorado is in charge of arrangements.
