Michael S. Sweeney, 73, resident of Eldorado passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at St. Louis University Hospital. Michael was born September 9, 1942 in Madisonville, KY to the late William and Hattie Mae (Jones) Sweeney. He is survived by a daughter Michelle Ann (Cliff) Payton of Evansville, IN, three brothers; Randy (Dee) Sweeney of Herrin, Tony Walker of Eldorado, Tom (Betty) Sweeney of Evansville, two sisters; Gayle Durbin of Evansville, Holly (Ernie) Attebury of Anderson, IN, two grandchildren; Avery and Joseph Valenzuela and a special nephew; Lany Joe (Kara) Willis of Eldorado. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Danny and Paul Sweeney and a sister Ann Willis. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Art Watson Officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to service time Sunday.
