Rita Faye Beattie, 51, resident of Muddy passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at her residence. Rita was born January 25, 1964 in Rosiclare, IL to the William E Tolbert and the late Barbara (Matthews) Tolbert. She had married James C. Beattie. She was a homemaker. In addition to her father Rita is survived by four sons; James William Beattie, Roy Lee Beattie, Eddie Lee Beattie, Brandon Lee Beattie, three daughters; Ternia Griffith, Jessica Van, Misty Marie Beattie, a brother; George A. Tolbert, a sister; Vickie Sue Patterson and 7 grandchildren. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by one grandchild. Rita was cremated at her request and a private burial will be held at a later date.
