Robert Lee Leithliter, 90, resident of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Bob was born August 15, 1925 in Equality to the late James and Rhoda (Davenport) Leithliter. He served in the United States Army during WWII and returned home to pursue his lifelong occupation as a farmer. Bob was a member of the Restitution Church in Eldorado, a lifetime member of the Eldorado VFW, a member of the Eldorado American Legion and a member of the Eldorado Lions Club. Bob is survived by a special lifelong friend Jack and Velma Wiggins of Eldorado and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Earl and Phillip Leithliter and two sisters; Pauline Leithliter and Bernice Bird. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Brian Atra officiating. Visitation will be Monday April 18, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery with Military Rites.
