Robert P. “Speedy” Hale, 77, resident of Eldorado went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, January 15, 2016 at Ferrell Hospital. Robert was born in Galatia to the late Robert N. and Clora M. (Sinks) Hale. He married the former Ruth A. Feltz who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son; Jimmy Henshaw, Jr. of Carterville, four daughters; Debbie (Patrick) Shafer of KY, Gloria (Marshall) Parker of Eldorado, Jackie Dukes of McLeansboro, Bobbie Henshaw of Eldorado, a brother; Larry R. Hale of New Haven, three brother-in-laws; Billy Lofthouse of Sycamore, IL, Robert Feltz of NJ, Ray (Karen) Feltz of Dekalb, IL, 14 grandchildren; Trevor, Rachel, Bobby, Makayla, Angie, Amy, Amanda, Dusty, Kisha, Justin, Logan, Cassie, Carey, Christie, 22 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; Blake, Alfred, Billy Gene, two sisters; Imogene, Vida Fern and one grandson, Travis. Memorial services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1:00 pm to service time.
