Ryan Matthew Rann

Ryan Matthew Rann, 40, resident of the Brushy Creek Community passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at his residence.  Ryan was born April 26, 1976 in Eldorado to the late Randal E. and Donna M. (Patterson) Rann.  He married the former Samonica Steinsultz who survives.  Ryan owned and operated Rann Welding Supply for 16 years.  Ryan was a member of the Galatia Masonic Lodge #684 and a past Master of the Galatia Lodge.  He was very active in fundraising and growing the scholarship fund and served on several committees in the Galatia lodge.  He was an ambassador for the Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason Membership Committee, a Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason of the Belleville, Illinois Lodge, an ambassador of the Ainad Shrine of St. Louis, Missouri and an ambassador of the Ainad Shrine Membership Committee. Ryan is survived by his wife Samonica Rann, children; Grayson and Shelby, brother Jeff and wife Emily of Robinson, mother and father in law; Sam and Mary Steinsultz, sister and brother in laws; Samantha and Todd Parish and Samilla and Tim Dunn, nieces and nephews; Rachel Parish, Zach Parish, Tyler Dunn, Skyla Rann, Gavin Rann and Makenna Rann, and several cousins and aunts and uncles.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Steve Dunn officiating.  Burial will be in Brushy Creek Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3-7 pm Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the funeral home with Masonic and Scottish Rites at 7:00pm.  In lieu of flowers an education fund has been established for Grayson and Shelby.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
