William Michael Davis, 57, resident of Marion passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his residence. William was born June 30, 1959 in Eldorado, Illiinois to the late James William and Marie (McGhee) Davis. He worked in quality control for Aisin Manufacturing. He married the former Teresa Brandsasse who survives. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. In addition to wife he is survived by a son; Michael (Erika) Davis of CA, two daughters; Frances (Donald) Long of Eldorado, Stephanie (Matthew) Walther of Marion, a brother; Art Davis of Cahokia and 10 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his birth mother; Mary Catherine Collins, two brothers; Andy Arthur, Jeffery Arthur and a sister Shirley Barrell. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will be in Rhine Cemetery in Raleigh. Visitation will be 10am to service time on Saturday. In addition to flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
