Janice Ann Woods, 71, of Raleigh passed away at her residence on Thursday September 13, 2012. Janice was born October 12, 1940 in Eldorado, Illinois to the late Vester “Butch” and Mildred (Hargett) Sutton. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Eldorado. Janice is survived by her husband James “Woody” Woods; a son, Mark (Susan) Woods of SC; a daughter, Tracy (Bill) Blevins of NY; one granddaughter, Mallory Fleetwood of SC and two great granddaughters, Madison Grace Fleetwood and Allison Presley Fleetwood both of SC. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM on Saturday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado and will be followed by a graveside service at Lindale Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

Tracy, my prayers are for you, your dad, brother, the 'whole' family and friends. I won't forget that long, sweet call made to me by Janice about 5 months ago. It's not an easy time, but God is a very present help in the time of trouble. Much Love, Barbara

Janice will be in our hearts forever. She was so special to us and has a place no one else could ever fill. As much as we will all miss her, we're so thankful God has eased her suffering. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
