Bertis Duane Lovellette

Bertis Duane Lovellette, 79, resident of Eldorado, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Duane was born June 10, 1939 in Harrisburg to the late Virgil and Cartha (Harrawood) Lovellette.  He married the former Edna Bryant who survives.  Duane worked as a farmer for the Gray Estate for 50 years, Herrin Hospital for 1 1/2 years and Griffin Plumbing for 9 years.  He and his wife Edna were Hospice Volunteers and attended the Eldorado First United Methodist Church.  Duane is survived by his wife of 28 years, Edna, two sons: Neal (Christy) Haynes of Marion, Nick (Tara) Haynes of Denver, CO, grandchildren: Elizabeth Lovellette of Harrisburg, Coleman Haynes of Marion, Rushing Haynes of Denver, CO, niece and nephews: Stanley Miller of Ridgway, Susan Miller of KY, a brother-in-law: J.C. Miller of Harrisburg and several cousins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son: Dean Lovellette and a sister: Theda Miller. Funeral services will be at noon Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with pastor Chris Wise officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 am to service time at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery.
