Betty Jo (Milligan) Hrecko

Betty Jo Hrecko, 82, longtime resident of Eldorado passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Rosewood Care Center in Alton.  Betty was born December 12, 1935 in Harrisburg to the late James Robert and Susie Ellen (Hale) Milligan. In 1953, she married Andrew P. Hrecko who preceded her in death in 2004. Betty is survived by four children: Andrew Phillip Hrecko, Jr., Matthew J. Hrecko, Joy Ann (Hrecko Kuykendall) Martin (Charles), and Lynda Angela (Hrecko) Henderson (Kip); grandchildren: Angelique, Justin, and Salicia Sumner, all of Harrisburg; Gabriel Kuykendall, Aja, Thai, and Lance (Emily) Martin, all of St. Louis area; Jacynda Hrecko of Harrisburg; Aslan Henderson of Bethalto, IL, 14 great grandchildren and a dear life long friend: Doris James of Eldorado. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter:  Susan Maria (Hrecko) Sumner and seven siblings. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Howard Stearns officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11:00 am to service time at the funeral home.
