Bonita Alice Quick, 91, longtime resident of Raleigh and Eldorado passed away March 2, 2019 at her home at Westminster Village in West Lafayette, IN. Alice was born December 11, 1927 in Raleigh to the late George and Ruth Bradshaw. On August 28, 1944 she married James Robert Quick who preceded her in death July 17, 2014. Alice spent a good portion of her life caring for others at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia, Eldorado Nursing Home and Pearce Hospital. After she retired she volunteered at Ferrell Hospital. She was a member of Bethel Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Lions Club. She was and avid bowler on a women’s league and a mixed league. She loved to cook and take care of her family and she Enjoyed cake decorating. Alice Traveled to 48 states and Korea and Mexico throughout her life. Alice is survived by 2 sons: Brad (Dianne) Quick of Newburgh, IN, Van (Lou Ann) Quick of Benton IL, a daughter: Mary Beth Franas of Edgerton, WI, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son James Robert Quick Jr. and brothers Donald and Delman Bradshaw. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Elder Van Quick officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Creek Cemetery in Raleigh.
