Cathy Jo Hopkins, 59, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday August 5, 2017 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Cathy was born August 7, 1957 in Harrisburg to the late Jack and Nora (Postado) Ratley. She married Todd Hopkins who survives. She worked as a caretaker for Golden Circle in Harrisburg. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to her husband, Cathy is survived by a daughter; Dana (James) Hayes of Harrisburg, a step daughter; Stephanie (Jason) Ghent of Eldorado, a step son; Eric (Brittney) Hopkins of Eldorado, two brothers; Gary (Pam( Ratley of Harrisburg, Jack (Kay) Ratley of Harrisburg, a granddaughter Brianna Hayes of Harrisburg, six step grandchildren; Erica, Kayleigh, Lexus, Justice, Kolin, Lylah, brother-in-law; Brad (Paula) Hopkins of Eldorado, mother-in-law; Billie Jo Hopkins of Eldorado, several nieces and nephews and her canine companion Dusty. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister; Shirley Brinkley and a brother-in-law Hudson Hopkins. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Randy Plunkett officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 am to service time Thursday.
