Daniel Lester Gulledge Jr., 72, of Galatia, Ill., passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019, 4:05 a.m., at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. He was born on February 11, 1947 in Harrisburg, the son of the late Daniel Lester and Peggy Ann (Davidson) Gulledge. Daniel was a coal miner and a Vietnam Veteran.. He is survived by his son, Bill Gulledge of Galatia; his daughter, Cheryl and Michael Bell of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Jacob Bell, Megan Bell, Christina Mitchell, and Dakota Mitchell. A private family service is planned. Colonial Terrace Funeral Home and Crematory in Eldorado is charge of the services.
