Obituary

Eric E. Glenn, 71, resident of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  Eric was born January 27, 1948 in Rosiclare, IL to the late Ezra and Dorothy (Shockley) Glenn. On August 2, 1974 he married the former Susie M. Gordon who survives.  He graduated from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1971. Eric worked as a pharmacist at Medicap in Eldorado prior to retirement. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer always playing in the “Twilight League”, was a member of the Saline County Country Club, an avid Cardinals and Kentucky Wildcats fan, a guest member of the Eldorado VFW and also enjoyed fishing.  In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons: Stephen (Christa) Glenn of Henderson, KY and Shawn (Stacey) Glenn of Newburgh, IN and an aunt and uncle: Durward and Imogene Osman of MI.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am  Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Bill Heard officiating.  Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4-7 pm Friday, April 26, 2019 and Saturday morning from 9:00 am to service time at the funeral home. In addition to flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.  Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
