Felix A. Tate, 87, resident of Eldorado passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Villas of Hollybrook Reflections Memory Care in Harrisburg. Felix was born December 30, 1930 in Galatia to the late Ralph B. and Beatrice Amy (Gill) Tate. He served in the US Marines during the Korean War. On February 12, 1972 he married the former Linda Kay Hendrix who preceded him in death April 14, 2018. Felix was retired from Scott Lad. He is survived by four children: Jason D. (Natalie) Tate of Marion, Andrea (Charlie) Smith of Eldorado, Ralph (Shelly) Tate of Carterville, John (Kim) Tate of Paducah, nine grandchildren: Jennifer Tate, Justin Tate, Lexie (Bryan) Brinly, Rachel (Kaleb) Martin, Hannah Tate, Laura Tate, Callie Smith, Noah Smith, Harrison Tate, one great grandson Braxton, a sister: Lela Faye (Bill) Moore of Galatia. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a Daughter: Judy Marie Tate and two sisters: Winifred Lee Tate and Leona Maria Tate. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Friday, October 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
