Helen Louise (Omahundro) Stallings

Helen Louise Stallings, 83, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.  Helen was born February 15, 1935 in Broughton to the late Rosco and Jean (Jones) Omohundro. She married John B. Stallings who preceded her in death.  Helen worked and put herself through college earning a associates degree.  She worked as an instructor for WADI for 34 years. She was a member of Star Church.  Helen is survived by two sons: John Wayne (Cheryl) Stallings of Galatia, William Joseph “Joe” Stallings of Galatia, two grandchildren: Chelsea (Cody) Taylor, Dalton Stallings, two great granddaughters: Avery and Rilynn and a very special friend: Tina Riley. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother: James Omohundro and a sister: Carolyn “Sissie” Viers. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating.  Burial will be in Douglass Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the funeral home.  Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
