Ira Edward Brewner, Sr., 83 resident of Raleigh passed away Wednesday July 19, 2017 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Evansville. Ed was born August 12, 1933 in Ridgway to the late Isaac and Edna (Skelton) Brewner. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He retired from AO Smith Company in Granite City. He was a member of the Eldorado First Christian Church. He married the former Lola Phyllis Bennett who preceded him in death. Ed is survived by six children; Kenneth (Millie) Johnson of Eldorado, Kimberly (Frank) Rapp, of Raleigh, Kris Duke of Raleigh, Ira Edward Brewner, Jr, Sandra Tracker, Diana Reyes, a sister Barbara, grandchildren; Michelle, Angela, David, Wayne, Jordan, Michayla, Amy and a great granddaughter, Kaia. In addition to his parents and Wife he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathie Abell. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Dennis Robinson officiating. Visitation is Friday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
