John Wesley Laverne Sisk

John Wesley Laverne Sisk passed away at his home in Harrisburg in the early morning hours of Friday, July 28, 2017 at the age of 36 surrounded by those who loved him.  John enjoyed working with his tools and enjoyed sitting outside in his glider when the weather was nice. John lived with his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Weder, for over 19 years and during this time was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. John was a resident at Turner Manor for many years before moving out to the Coleman Tri-County CILA home on Triple S Road with several of his friends. John has had many caretakers over the years in Southern Illinois and will be greatly missed by everyone. John is survived by his sister April Woodyard of North Carolina and foster parents John & Joyce Weder of Central Illinois and their children, Judy (Allen) and Joe (Sandy). Cremation has been accorded and a private burial will take place at a later date.  Colonial Terrace Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
