Linda Kay Tate, 76, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by her family. Kay was born December 13, 1941 in Eldorado to the late Clyde and LaVerne (Bean) Hendrix. On December 2, 1972 she married Felix A. Tate who survives. Kay was a homemaker and a hairdresser. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to her husband she is survived by four children: Jason D. (Natalie) Tate of Eldorado, Andrea (Charlie) Smith of Eldorado, Ralph (Shelly) Tate of Carterville, John (Kim) Tate of Paducah, a special MaMa to nine grandchildren: Jennifer Tate, Justin Tate, Lexie (Bryan) Brinly, Rachel (Kaleb) Martin, Hannah Tate, Laura Tate, Callie Smith, Noah Smith, Harrison Tate, one great grandson Braxtonand, and MeMaw two special nieces Morgan Seely and Autumn Hooper. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the funeral home.
