Robert Franklin “Bob” Sisky, 60 of Harrisburg passed away September 5, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. He was born March 26, 1959 to June Jarrells and the late Frank Sisky. Growing up Bob loved playing baseball and was a life long avid sports fan. His favorite baseball team was the Pittsburg Pirates. Bob graduated HHS in 1977, he attended SIC, received an associate in science at John A. Logan and attended SIU. Bob worked for many years at Crownline Boat Manufacturing in Benton, IL. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Sisky, paternal grandmother Josephine Sisky, maternal grandparents Leo and Romola Fowler, uncle Dale Reynolds, and a former girl friend Lynn Stephanou. He is survived by his parents Ray and June Jarrells, sisters Janis (Curt) Wilson, Linda (Alan) Lane, nephew Ben Wilson, niece Brittany (Kyle) Hodson, nephew Mitchell Lane, aunt Mary Bower, Lynn’s daughter Liberty (Shane) and Colton Steinmetz. Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2019, from 5-7 pm at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a local charity or food pantry in Bob’s memory. Bob was an instant friend to all that knew him. He will be sadly missed.
