Ruth Evelyn Ozee, 82, resident of Harrisburg passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. Ruth was born September 8, 1936 in Elizabethtown, IL to the late George and Loretta (Briggs) Edwards. She was methodist by faith. Prior to retirements Ruth worked as a Correctional Officer for the Illinois Department of Corrections. Ruth is survived by two daughters: Sandy Pennell of Eldorado, Mary Lou Ozee of Huntingdon, TN, a son: Tim Ozee of Pheonix, AZ, one brother: Charley Edwards of Terre Haute, IN, three sisters: Sarah Jane Tanner of IA, Mary Lou Schmidt of MN, Bessie Stone of Rosiclare, five grandchildren: Jared Pennell, David Thomas, Matthew Pennell, Jennifer James, Jessica Moss, and 6 great grandchildren: Ava Pennell, Max Pennell, Aiden Moss, Lily Moss, Mia Moss and Luke Hale. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by seven brothers: Herbert, Howard, Harry, Johnnie, Bennie, George, Fred and two sisters: Laura McMahnon and Betty Edwards.
