Shirley G. (Shipp) Templeton

Shirley G. Templeton, 82, resident of Harrisburg passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at her residence.  Shirley was born November 3, 1936 in Herod, Il to the late Gordon David and Nina Bernice (Schutt) Shipp. Shirley worked in Real Estate and owned and operated Shirley’s Lounge in Harrisburg for many years.  She is survived by a daughter: Shirley Renee’ Kaiser of Harrisburg, a sister: Melba Louise Booten of Mt. Zion, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter: Michele D. Ralph, a son: Michael D. Ralph and a brother: Lowell T. Shipp.  Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. George Teegarden officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00am to service time on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Peters Creek Cemetery in Hardin County.  Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
