Sondra Gayle Long

Sondra Gayle Long, 78, resident of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Sondra was born October 1, 1941 in Detroit, MI to the late Ralph Fulkerson and the former Dorothy Brantley. She married Terrell “Terry” D. Long who preceded her in death. She attended College Heights Baptist Church. Sondra was a Registered Nurse and worked at Pearce Hospital and later Lourdes Hospital prior to retirement. She is survived by a daughter, Stacy (Johnny Bob) James of Eldorado, a granddaughter, Erica (Ethan) Harris of Eldorado, a great granddaughter, Isabelle, sister-in-law’s Dixie Long of Eldorado and Tina Hodges of FL,  nieces, Kelly Long and Cindy Long both of TX and Rhonda Hodges of FL. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Joey D. Long and a brother, Marshall Hodges.  Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Visitation will be 11:00am to service time on Friday.
