Wesley Alan Rivers

On October 25, 2017, Wesley Alan Rivers of Harrisburg, IL put down his tools and picked up his wings at the age of 58.

Wes was raised in Eldorado, IL by his parents, Daniel and Lucille Lindsey. He spent his life working hard, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and never missing an opportunity to tell you about any of his crazy adventures.

Wes leaves behind his wife, Robin Rivers, his children, Deke (Desi) Rivers, Niki (Ryan) Trusty, Dylan Yates, and Derek Rivers, his grandchildren, Dalton Rivers, Hannah Rivers, Riley Rivers, Whittleigh Trusty, and Jacalyn Trusty, his siblings, Melody Unthank-Lane, William Unthank, Delores Rivers, and Tina Unthank-Triestram, his parents, as well as his many nieces and nephews who will always remember their Uncle Wes.

Graveside services will be held in remembrance of Wesley Alan Rivers on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 1 p.m at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado, IL for any family or friends who wish to pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you take a moment to hug your parents, children, siblings and friends. Bury the hatchet and heal the wounds. Time waits for no one and tomorrow is never promised. Never miss out on a chance to say I love you.
