William E. Fryer, 78, resident of Eldorado passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Bill was born December 11, 1939 in Sanford, Florida to the late William E., Sr. and Othella (Boyd) Fryer. He married Carolyn Sue Horton who survives. Bill worked as a custodian for the Eldorado Unit 4 School System for over 20 years prior to retirement. He was a member of the Ridgway Masonic Lodge and a 32 degree member of the Valley of Evansville lodge. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children: Pamela Harbison of Eldorado, William “Bill” (Cathy) Fryer of Stonefort, grandchildren: Ryan (Chelsea) Harbison, Kyle (Anslea) Harbison, Megan (Jared) Mitchell, Michael Fryer, great grandchildren: Madelyn Fryer, Mackenzie Fryer, Kailyn Harbison, Adalyn Harbison, Ava Harbison, Henry Harbison, Emmit Harbison, Abby Fryer, Corbin Crim, brothers and sisters: Donald Fryer, Mike Fryer, Martin Fryer, Henry Fryer, Libby Jett, Juanita Trail and Jo Ann Sweat. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: John Fryer, and five sisters: Marie, Fran, Helen, Ernestine and Bertha. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, May 7, 2018 at Wolf Creek Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating. Those attending should go directly to the cemetery.
