William F. Richardson, 88, resident of Eldorado passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab surrounded by his family. Bill was born December 22, 1929 in Eldorado to the late William and Elizabeth (Barnett) Richardson. In 1949 he married the former Mary K. Roye who preceded him in death in 2016. He was a lifelong member of the Eldorado Gospel Assembly Church where he was head usher for may years. Bill was employed at Peabody Eagle 2 Mine until his retirement. He was a 33 year member of the UMWA. Bill is also a past auxiliary police officer and a past volunteer fireman. Bill is survived by a daughter: Debbie Shultz of Eldorado, three grandchildren: Bill (Jacquie) Griffith of Eldorado, Tabitha Griffith of Eldorado, Amanda Lawson of FL, great grandchild: James Lawson of FL, and a great great grandchild: Axle Hamblin of Norris City. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a daughter: Sheilah Griffith, four sisters: Agnes, Louise, Francis, Beatrice and by his twin infant brother. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, April 20, 2018 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. L.D. Jolly officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery.
