Allan Wayne Mosby, 79, resident of Eldorado passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at his residence. Allan was born December 2, 1943 in Eldorado to the late Woodrow and Lucille (Zirkelbach) Mosby. He married the former Mary Ellen Couser on June 7, 1969. She preceded him in death on March 8, 2020. Allan was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eldorado. He served in the US Army. He enjoyed tending his garden and watching the surrounding fields flourish. Allan is survived by a son: Tim (Diana) Mosby of Houston, TX, two daughters: Tammy Mosby of Morganfield, KY, Debbie Golden of Harrisburg, two sisters: Janet (Doug) Foster of Stonefort, Sharon (Jim) Grimes of Harrisburg, a brother: Brian (Annette) Mosby of Olney, six grandchildren: Cole Mosby, Emma Mosby, Justin (Steff) Golden, Dylan Golden, Hannah Golden, Maggie Hathaway, three great grandchildren: Layla Golden, Harper Golden, Peyton Golden, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A mass of christian burial will be said Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eldorado with Father Christian Iwaugwu officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Eldorado.  Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with a prayer service at 5pm. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
