Anne Dibble (Dibble) Harper

Anne Dibble Harper, 73, of Edwardsville, Illinois passed away Sunday April 26, 2020 at Anderson Hospital after an extended illness. Anne was born December 17, 1946 in Detroit Michigan to the late Col. William B. Dibble and Jane Mitchell Dibble.  On September 21, 1968 she was married to Alvin David Harper who survives. She lived many places around the world including Japan, Germany, California, and Virginia. She was an accomplished and lifelong supporter of the Girl Scouts and an avid reader. Anne was an alumni of Mary Washington College, University of Virginia, and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She was a dedicated nurse and director of nursing for over 40 years at the Visiting Nurses Association of St. Clair County. 

She is survived by her husband, and three children; Jane Steinkuehler, and husband Fred of Edwardsville, IL. Elizabeth Forrester, and husband Shea of Murray, KY, and Alvin David Harper Jr., of Starved Rock State Park, IL;  5 grandchildren; Mitchell Henry, Riley David, Kelton David, Claire Elaine, and Grace Elizabeth. Along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

There will be a private ceremony held a Cedar Bluff Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Diabetes Association.
