Anthony (Tony) Ray Young, 71, resident of Eldorado, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 surrounded by loved ones at his residence. He was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on November 22, 1954 to the late James and Ramona (Bedwell) young. Tony was a coal miner and EMT and was a big believer in charity and helping people in need. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed every minute he spent with them. He loved his five kitty cats and laughed at them everyday. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing washers. He was a diehard Kentucky Wildcats fan. Tony is survived by his wife, Ella M (Bryant) Young of Eldorado, sister, Lori Gamblin of Kentucky, brother, Greg Young of Indiana, children; Brandy (Jones) Rector of Galatia, Alan Young of Oklahoma, Ben and Tobie (Gross) Young of McLeansboro, Amanda Young of Kentucky, Sara (Jones) and Cameron Mitchell of Oregon, Josuah Young of Marion, grandchildren; Damon Jackson of Galatia, Blaze Lutwinski of Oregon, Josie Ruth Young of Alabama, Nicole (Rector) and Robert Gangard of Eldorado, Jarae and Holly (Harris) Young of Missouri, Parker Pre’Genzer currently serving in the U.S. Army, Benjamin Young of Alabama, Jace Young of Missouri, Ronan Troy Mitchell of Oregon, Joleigh Young of Missouri, Dawson Young of McLeansboro, Dalton Young of Coulterville, and expecting a great grandchild; Preston James Young. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by two brothers; Ronald Whitfield, Timothy Young; his grandchildren; Molly K. Young and Evan R. Young. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude in Tony’s name.
