Arlene May (Emberger) McGill

Arlene May McGill, 75,  of Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away at her home on Sunday morning, June 21, 2020 at 8:15 a.m.   She was born on May 27, 1945 in Exton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John Pershing and Catherine Louise (Lehman) Emberger.  Arlene married Orval Wayne McGill on March 8, 1965.  She was a Vietnam War Army Veteran.  Arlene is survived by her husband, Orval McGill of Harrisburg;  her mother, Catherine Emberger of Pennsylvania; two sons, Scott and Dave McGill, both of Pennsylvania; one brother, John Steven and Rose Emberger of Pennsylvania; her sister in law, Debbie Emberger of Pennsylvania;; two grandchildren, Shawn McGill and Alisha McGill; three grandchildren, Noah, Cooper and Keith.  She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Dave Emberger.  Visitation for Arlene will be held on Thursday, June 25th from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado.  The Reverend Russell Helton will be officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Wolf Creek Cemetery with military honors by Eldorado VFW and the Army Honor Guard.  Due to Covid-19 social distancing and masks are recommended.
