Barbara Ann (Minor) Awalt

Barbara Ann Awalt, 79, resident of Eldorado passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Ferrell Hospital. Barbra was born September 3, 1942 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to the late Clarence “Carl” and Anna (Hart) Minor. She married Don Awalt who survives. She was a member of the Oasis Community Church in Harrisburg. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons: Jeff (Lynette) Awalt of Carbon Hill, Christopher (Samantha) Awalt of Plainfield, three daughters: Kimberly (Mike) Smith of TX, Melissa (Michael) Stevenson of Lockport, Jenny (Jim) Machart of Lockport, a brother: Jerry (Alaina) Minor of TN, 12 grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Pastor Kent Eaton officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 am to service time on Wednesday. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
