Barbara Sue Stockstill

Barbara Sue Stockstill, a longtime resident of Shawneetown, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Eldorado, Illinois. She was born on January 12, 1938, in Shawneetown to the late Bowen and Lela (Bailey) Walker.

Barbara dedicated her career to caring for others, working in dietary services in long-term care facilities. She will be remembered for her commitment and compassion.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Stockstill of Shawneetown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Walka, and sisters, Judy Alvey and Jean McClean.
