Brandon, Kim and Noah Tackett

Brandon Lee Tackett, 40, Kimberly Ann Tackett, 35 and Noah James Tackett, 14, residents of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 as the result of an automobile accident. Brandon was born November, 19, 1982 in Kankakee, Illinois to Ricky Tackett of Buckingham, Illinois and Susan (Wright) Slafer of Marseilles, Illinois. He worked at Hamilton County Coal Company.  Kim was born August 2, 1988 in Pontiac, Illinois to the late Carl and Carol Sue (Spellmeyer) Cox. She married the late Brandon Lee Tackett. She worked at Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Noah was born December 24, 2008 in Pontiac, Illinois to the late Brandon Lee and Kimberly Ann (Cox) Tackett. He was a freshman at Eldorado High School. Brandon and Kimberly are also survived by a daughter and son, Noah’s sister and brother: Julia Tackett and Adyn Tackett both of Eldorado. Brandon is survived by five siblings: Ricky James (Julie) Tackett, Jr. of Kankakee, Steven (Sarah Brown) Wright of Kankakee, James Tackett of Kankakee, Jennifer Tipton of Marseilles and Ambar (Joshua Hazel) Campbell of Kankakee, Kim is survived by three siblings: John (Tabitha) Cox of Pontiac, Tammy (Bob) Hall of Pontiac and Lula Cox of Pontiac. Memorial services for Brandon, Kim and Noah will be at 6:00 pm Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Star Church with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating.
